Student Registration

The instructions for registration is included in each of the registration packets.

Please download the packet(s) that you need and follow the appropriate instructions for registering your student(s).

Kindergarten Registration for the 2024-25 School Year

Kindergarten registration has begun for the 2024-25 school year.

To be eligible, a child must be 5 years old on or before Dec. 1, 2024. Parents/guardians must complete the New Hartford Kindergarten Student Registration Packet and bring the required documentation listed below.

Required documents for the registration process:

  1. Original birth certificate
  2. Proof of residency
    1. Tax bill (if you own a home)
    2. Notarized lease agreement (if you rent the home)
    3. If you live with your parents, a residency affidavit needs to be signed and notarized by your parents and the person that owns the home. In addition, 2 other forms of residency such as utility bill or cell phone bill with your mailing address provided on it.
  3. Custody papers (if applicable)
  4. Academic records from your previous school (if applicable)
  5. Health records, including immunizations
  6. Committee on Special Education (CSE) records (if applicable)
  7. Completed Registration Packet
