Twenty-nine New Hartford Central School District students were inducted into the Tri-M Music Honor Society during a ceremony on Oct. 16.
Tri-M recognizes students who excel both academically and musically and promotes music education and advocacy through music-based service projects.
“Selection for Tri-M honors students’ hard work and dedication and inspires them to continue their musical journey,” said Tri-M advisor and music department chair Jo Anne Goodemote during the induction ceremony. “I am excited to see how you will continue to grow as musicians and leaders in our community.”
New Hartford’s Tri-M membership includes a total of 51 students in grades 11 and 12.
