New Hartford Central School District band students who are currently in grades 4-6 and string students currently in grades 4-12 can now register for the 2024 New Hartford Summer Music program.
The program includes three separate music opportunities in July, each of which is one week long and culminates in a concert performance.
Allegro Band
For students currently in grades 4-6
Rehearsals: July 15-19; 10 to 11 a.m. in the auditorium
Concert: July 19 at 11:15 a.m. in the auditorium
Fee: $50

For students currently in grades 4-5
Rehearsals: July 15-19; 9 to 10 a.m. in the auditorium
Concert: July 19 at 11:15 a.m. in the auditorium

Chamber Orchestra
For students currently in grades 6-12
Rehearsals: July 15-18; 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Senior High School orchestra room
Concert: July 18 at 5:30 p.m. in the auditorium

Missed rehearsals are non-refundable
Current 6th-grade students (doublers) who want to do both Allegro Band and Chamber Orchestra will be shared between both ensembles.
