Beginning Thursday, July 18, School Road, the connecting road between Hughes Elementary School and Perry Junior High School, will be closed for repaving. The road will remain closed through the end of August and is scheduled to reopen before the first day of school.
Additional work taking place this summer includes:
- Softball field upgrades – Perry
- Asbestos abatement – Perry
- Boiler/hot water system replacement – Perry
- Re-roofing – Hughes, Myles, and Perry
The work is part of a $39.8 million capital project, which was approved by voters in December 2021.
