Board of education seeks community input on superintendent of schools search – Survey #1

Sept. 9, 2024

The following is from Superintendent Search Consultant Patricia N. Kilburn, Ed.D:

The New Hartford Central School District Board of Education is currently conducting its search for the next superintendent of schools and is seeking initial input from district employees, students, families and community members.

Members of the New Hartford Central School District community are being asked to share their feedback on the characteristics and attributes of the next Superintendent. Participation in the survey will be open until 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, September 18, 2024.

The survey can be accessed by visiting https://tejoin.com/scroll/344921411 or through a link on the New Hartford District homepage.

This is the first of two public surveys that will be conducted. The feedback gathered in both surveys will be used throughout the superintendent search process to guide the Board in developing marketing materials, interview questions and in candidate selection.

As the Board moves through the search process, they will continue to provide updates and opportunities for the District community to share additional feedback in a variety of ways.
