The Board of Education sets policy. A board-adopted policy is a statement that establishes standards and/or objectives to be attained by the district. Board policies are the means by which the Board of Education leads and governs the district.
Regulations define the procedures by which board policies are carried out within the district. Regulations are developed by the administration and approved by the Superintendent of Schools.
Policies and regulations are continually revised and updated to comply with current state and federal laws.
