New Hartford Central School District teachers Rebecca Roberts and Jennifer Wagner were among 25 educators who were recognized locally during Teacher Appreciation Week.
Each year, News Channel 2, The Genesis Group and First Source Federal Credit Union sponsor a regional Teacher Appreciation Week spotlight to honor teachers in the community who support, motivate and inspire students. Of the nearly 120 teachers who were nominated, 25 were selected as this year’s honorees and featured on News Channel 2.
Both Mrs. Roberts and Ms. Wagner teach first grade at Myles Elementary School.

Teacher Appreciation Week is observed every year during the first full week of May.
