| hey mr ferguson!!! omg, it was great seeing you tonite!!!! didnt the jr high bands ROCK? yup, we did. um...so im gonna go up to hughes the 16th and watch the elementary concert at hughes!!!!!! cant wait!!! and on friday katie maybe kristen and i were gonna drop by hughes. we'll be sure to drop by ur "closet". lol, i meant room...heehee. i miss 6th grade band so much. it was the best...o well, now we're on to new things...and today i got a vandoren mouthpiece and rovner(sp?) ligature for my clarinet. it has helped alot!!! and for all the younger students who play clarinet, the mouthpieces and ligatures are on sale at american music. the vandoren b45 mouthpiece and Rovner(sp?) ligatures do make a difference in playing and are great for jr high...lavaz reeds are also on sale. im sry if u dont play a clarinet and reading this has bored you but i just wanna get the message 9out....well i think i typed too much...my fingers hurt...o ya, (sp?) means spelling? like, i wasnt sure how to spell that word...

I am trying out for All-County this year the music looks hard but it is not. In 2 melodies I have 4 sharps! I have another one with 2 sharps and my last one in my home key but rhythmically it is really hard! |

| o my gosh. band this year was great. it went by so fast. effort really does pay off. i mean, when we first got Red White & Blue, it looked impossible to play. but it happened to be one of our easiest songs. and mr. Ferguson, you've been an awesome band teacher. You made band so much fun and on days 2 and 6, i actually couldn't wait for band and i luved waking up early. but itz so sad that the 6th graders wont be seeing you again.(there's only 20 dayz of school left)but if some of us join marching band next yr, we'll see you again and get to hear all ur bad jokes(lol). but i wanna thank you for an awesome "band season." I also wanna thank all the people who practiced a lot to make their parts perfect. especially the saxophone soloists. they worked so hard in the last couple of days before the concert to make their part perfect. and to the people who didnt practice, i hoped you learned ur lesson!! lol. so, i guess this is it. our last year of elementary band. now we have to move on and keep up our "great musical talent".(for eco. club people, that should seem familiar, u know, the musician part.) well, i have to go. again, thank u so so so so so so so so so so so so much. |
